Sacred Grief: Exploring A New Dimension to Grief by Leslee Tessmann
Sacred Grief offers an intriguing exploration of the far-reaching ripple effect of
our present-day opinions about surviving grief's emotional roller-coaster and the
unnecessary suffering our judgments unconsciously promote. You’ll find comfort in
discovering that there's another dimension to this universal experience—a dimension
that fosters trust, kindness and compassion, peacefully heals, and steadfastly
moves you towards your soul's deepest desires and dreams.

for everyone searching for the sweetness in life's great passages.”

grief.” —Mary Manin Morrissey,

About the Author
Leslee’s move from Seattle to Houston in 2003
and her father’s death in 2004 were the catalyst
for surrendering to her unfolding grief with curiosity
and compassion, and the telling of Sacred
Grief. It is her first and perhaps most memorable
achievement at writing and publishing a book
about that which she is so passionate. To accomplish
this out of a desire to help shift the
Western world’s relationship to grief and contribute
to the natural unfolding of the planet is to
have one of her most closely-held dreams come
true.
Leslee currently lives in Houston, Texas, with
her two brown tabby cats, Kayla and Max. She
travels to Seattle as often as possible to visit her
daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren.
Leslee is currently facilitating workshops, lecturing,
and developing a book of straight-from-the
heart prayers for times of grief and a book that
explores the complexities and dimensions of
guilt.
